You will also be trained how to do correct pre/post trip vehicle inspections. We will administer a Driving Test (i.e. Proper use of mirrors when backing) and then schedule a Pre-Employment Drug Test.
What happens after my training , what comes next?
After your drug test results are in and you have completed all of the required application paperwork and training, you will be issued a Company ID Badge . We will place you in our active on-call driver pool.

Crewzers Drivers work on an "On-Call" Basis. The length of a fire season will vary depending where you are physically located. Our busiest time is usually May through October. (Up to 18 days including travel to/from) although some dispatches may only last a day. If a dispatch lasts longer than 14 days, you may have the option of getting R&R and extending your dispatch. We ask that you obtain a cell phone prior to Fire Season in order to be available for a dispatch at any time (and to communicate with us while in the field).
What will this cost to get started?
You will be required to purchase your own Fire Safety clothing (PPE) and attire such as: Nomex Pants , Nomex Shirt , Non-steel toed leather upper (8") boots.
How much money can I make?
Once you are on a Fire Dispatch , you can earn up to $3000 Gross (before Taxes and Withholdings) for a 15 day period.
How often do I get paid?
We have a bi-weekly (twice per month) payroll schedule. You may elect to have your paycheck automatically deposited or to have your check mailed to you.
What else should I know?
We do not tolerate illegal drug use, alcohol consumption or sexual or racial harassment. We follow all D.O.T. rules and regulations. Failure to observe these regulations while on company time will result in your immediate termination. Fired employees must turn in all company gear and provide their own transporation home.
